This mine is located 100 km from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of its process of maintaining and increasing production, Barrick began a process of expansion of its processing plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arendal was the successful bidder for the execution of the civil, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation construction of the oxygen production, casting thickener and flotation areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The oxygen plant comprises two production lines which include: cold boxes, compressors, exchangers and cooling towers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tailings Thickener, includes the construction of a 55 m diameter conical tank with the assembly of all plant balance equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flotation, includes the works for the construction of 14 tanks (flotation cells) of 4 meters in diameter and 14 meters in height, including the pipes, pipe rack and other plant balance equipment for their correct operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\"
